Joshua Shreve, doing business as Shreve Infosec ("we" or "us"), provides web development, cybersecurity, and policy services to small and medium businesses in Jefferson County, Kentucky, and Clark County, Indiana. This notice explains how we handle the information you send through our website, shreveinfosec.com, and to our email address, info@shreveinfosec.com.
What this notice covers
This notice covers inquiries you send through our website and by email. Each service agreement governs the network access, credentials, and other client data we handle during an engagement.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the information you enter:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- the service you select and the project details you write
When you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you attach.
Why we collect it and how we use it
We use this information to reply to your inquiry and to keep our business records. We use it to answer your questions, discuss your project, and prepare a proposal if you ask for one.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list. We do not share it with anyone, except the service providers listed below and when the law requires it.
Service providers
We use these service providers only to run this site and deliver your messages:
- Hosting. Vercel hosts this website.
- Form delivery. When you submit the contact form, Resend sends your message to our inbox.
- Email forwarding. Namecheap forwards email sent to info@shreveinfosec.com to our inbox.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of what you send.
Children
We do not direct this site to children under 13.
How long we keep it
We do not keep inquiries for a fixed period. We delete your inquiry and your contact details when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them or we need them as records of work we did for you.
Your choices
You may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@shreveinfosec.com with your request, and we will reply by email.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
